I know Veera isn’t necessarily the perfect example of body inclusivity, but I was working on my collection and realized that even though I had been trying to be inclusive with ethnicities, I hadn’t done a great job of representing multiple body shapes and sizes. Veera & Vivien are both meant to widen that scope a little for this collection. I hope to continue to widen my celebration of all body shapes and sizes as I paint the female figure.

Veera really embodies a lot of sass and confidence for me. I think she’s a beautiful example of feeling beautiful in your skin 🙌🏼
